Privacy

§1.GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. This Privacy Policy applies to persons using the Website located at the URL address: http://hotelmetropolkatowice.wa.profitroom.com
    and is valid from October 1, 2024.
  2. The administrator of user data is: Metropol Hotel Man Sp.z o.o. (hereinafter referred to as "We").

§2. PERSONAL DATA

In connection with the implementation of the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"), we inform you that:

  1. We process your data for the following purposes:
    1. performance of a contract or taking steps at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract (legal basis: Art. 6 section 1 letter b GDPR),
    2. handling of queries (Art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR),
    3. consideration of complaints and claims (Art. 6 section 1 letter b GDPR),
    4. storing documentation and fulfilling legal obligations incumbent on the Administrator (Art. 6 section 1 letter c GDPR),
    5. sending the newsletter (Art. 6 section 1 letter and GDPR),
    6. monitoring and improving the quality of services provided – asking to complete a survey or answering several questions regarding the quality of services provided (Art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR),
    7. display of personalized commercial information on social networks (art. 6 section 1 letter and GDPR)
  2. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to use the services. In the case of expressing consent, it is voluntary and expressed by clicking the checkbox containing the conditions of the granted consent.
  3. If the person has consented to data processing (legal basis: Art. 6 section 1 point a GDPR), the data is processed until the consent is withdrawn, but after this period, information about who, when and what consent was granted may be archived (for the purposes of establishing, pursuing or defending legal claims). In other cases, data is processed for a period justified by the achievement of the purpose (e.g. performance of a contract, answering questions, tax regulations, etc.) The processing period depends on the possibility of establishing, pursuing or defending claims or when data retention is required due to tax regulations.

§3. DATA RECIPIENTS

We use the services of programming companies and companies maintaining IT systems with which we have concluded appropriate agreements. These agreements cover data processing and confidentiality policies. This data is not shared and none of these companies have the right to process the data in any other way than specified in the contract. Your data, if the company has access to it, may be processed only for the proper provision of services.
